Title Watch is an early-stage business. Some account, preference, and self-service features described or expected in a mature platform may not be available yet. We handle privacy questions and corrections directly through our team while the service is being built. Title Watch Limited should have Jamaican counsel review this policy before broad public launch.

Information We Collect

We collect information that helps us provide property monitoring, titling assistance, account support, billing, client communications, and early customer onboarding.

Contact details, including your name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, mailing address, and country of residence.
Property information, including property addresses, parcel details, title references, tax information, ownership documents, inspection notes, photographs, and related records you provide to us.
Account and subscription information, including selected plan, subscription status, billing history, onboarding status, and service requests.
Payment information processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
Website and device information, including pages visited, form submissions, browser type, IP address, referring pages, and similar technical data.

How We Use Information

To provide, manage, and improve Title Watch services.
To monitor public notices, property tax records, title records, site visit information, and other property-related sources.
To create and manage client accounts, subscriptions, invoices, receipts, failed payment notices, renewals, cancellations, and service updates as those systems become available.
To communicate with you by email, phone, WhatsApp, or other channels you provide.
To verify identity, ownership, authority to request services, and documentation where appropriate.
To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and security obligations.

Legal Bases and Consent

Depending on the situation, we process information to perform a contract with you, respond to your requests, satisfy legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, or because you have consented. Because Title Watch is still launching, we may not yet offer automated preference tools. If you want us to stop a non-essential communication or correct how we contact you, contact us directly and we will handle the request in a practical manner consistent with our legal and operational obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when reasonably needed for our services or legal obligations, including with:

Payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, analytics vendors, and other technology service providers.
Attorneys, surveyors, contractors, property professionals, government offices, or other third parties involved in a requested property service.
Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities where required or permitted by law.
Successors or advisers in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, or business transfer.

Stripe and Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment details, billing contact information, fraud signals, and transaction data under its own privacy practices. Title Watch receives limited billing information such as payment status, invoice details, subscription status, and customer identifiers.

International Data Transfers

Title Watch serves clients in Jamaica and the Jamaican diaspora. Information may be processed in Jamaica, the United States, or other countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information when it is transferred internationally.

Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. We retain information for as long as needed to evaluate inquiries, onboard early customers, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.

Your Requests and Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and contractual limits. At this stage, these requests should be made by contacting us directly. We may need to verify your identity, authority, and property relationship before completing a request. We may retain information where needed for billing, legal, security, dispute, service, or recordkeeping purposes.

Our website may use cookies, log files, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand usage, improve performance, and protect against abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly without them.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
